Meet Raresama Artist - Ep.#02
Our second MRA guest is HookerNFT! He is an incredible artist with a unique style of art. Already launched 4 different NFT collections on Raresama covering all the interests! You can find all the necessary links at the end. But first, let's discover who is behind these NFTs and what he has to share with us!
Hello Hooker! Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Spaniard based in Czech Rep. A watercolor artist and a blues guitar player! And a dad for the last two years too
How did you get interested in crypto, and how did that lead you to engage with NFTs?
I have been in and out longer than most people, but due to early CEX hacks, I had to start from the beginning. Lesson learned. I am an artist, and I like crypto, so the NFTs just came naturally.
What drives you to create NFTs?
Have fun. If I wouldn't have fun, I wouldn't do it. People and artists do love to circle jerk about feelings and thoughts and whatnot ... I just want to have fun. It's a desire and, at some point, a necessity.
How do you usually begin the process of creating an NFT, and what steps do you take to bring it to completion?
Well, it depends on the subject. If I am doing a figurative painting, I just choose the scene I want to paint. Then you start with the composition, and you figure out the color values and the focal point. I need to decide what story I want to tell before I start painting. Otherwise, that paper will go to thrash.
If you choose to do abstracts, then it is totally different. It's all about edges and shapes. Start without an idea and let it flow, and see what happens. Absolute freedom.
When doing urban, I just go loose, take the scene and make it happen in one go. Always trying to keep it as fresh as possible.
Once the work is done, then digitalize it, mint it, and GM the fuck out of it on Twitter, so people notice you.
You recently launched your own NFT collection on the Raresama NFT marketplace. Could you tell us more about your collection and how you came up with the idea?
Well, I have a few, actually! My main collection is just a mix of everything since my subjects are all over the place; I can't have 30 collections, so everything goes there, including plenty of collaborations.
My last collection is the first physical collection on Raresama (and pretty sure one of the few out there in general). A3 size watercolor + NFT. Trying to add something different to the game. It will be a small collection, but hopefully, people will dig it. Really excited about it.

How was the minting process experience on the Raresama NFT platform, and do you have any suggestions for improvements?
Pretty smooth! Suggestions have been sent to Momsama by plenty of people, so next sprint, I am sure we will see many implemented.
Community engagement and feedback seem to be really important in our space. What is your approach to that? Do you have any future plans for your community?
I got my own TG to discuss all my art things related, but the Moonsama ecosystem must have like 200 TG, so it's hard :D I am doing streaming sessions now in the new Raresama Ignate discord set up by Voxelle. I was the first to do it too. I love feedback as long as it's constructive. I have no plans, I could say, "oh yesss" but I am an artist, not a dev. Donnie was very clear from the beginning that he wanted a place for artists to showcase, and they would provide the utility. And so here we are. I did, however, collaborate with NFT projects that do have a utility and a plan behind so I am pretty much everywhere. I have a Minecraft skin ready too! I did a giveaway last week, too, among my holders. As the said goes, dips are temporary, but art is forever.
Who is your favorite artist on Raresama, and would you like to collaborate with him/her?
I can't say names because there are too many, but I do have a collaboration, the first time done in Raresama, with some of the guys I admire. Thanks to KusamaMaxi and Pano for the support on that collab as well as all the people who joined. It was great! And for real, just check the people there. Everybody is special and talented in some way, which is what makes the marketplace great.
What are your thoughts on the future of the Raresama marketplace?
As bright as the full moon that we are heading to.
Is there an NFT that you would like to own but don't, and if so, why?
A Moonsama, of course. Why don't I own it? Cos those guys are no paper hands, and I don't have the dough :D
Final question, any other thoughts you want to leave with our readers?
Stay healthy, have fun in life, and be nice to people! It doesn't take that much :)
Shoutout to HookerNFT and a big thanks for being part of MRA!
